Tenerife has a winemaking tradition stretching back centuries. Those wishing to discover the island’s more indulgent side can immerse themselves in the world of regional wines with our Canarian Wine Special.

The package includes seven nights in a Junior Suite, a welcome drink accompanied by fruit, flowers and a bottle of Canarian wine, as well as a delicious breakfast every morning, including a traditional Canarian breakfast. An evening dinner at Jardin de la Paz is accompanied by carefully selected regional wines. The experience also includes a wine tasting at the Casa del Vino museum in El Sauzal.

Another highlight for wine lovers is a visit to Bodega Tajinaste in the heart of the Orotava Valley. This traditional winery is just a few minutes’ drive from Jardin de la Paz and has been family-run since 1939. Today, several generations work together in winemaking, distribution and wine tasting.

Visitors can sample a selection of the estate’s wines in its wine shop and tasting room. The vineyards are home to traditional Canarian grape varieties, including Listán Negro, Listán Blanco, Malvasía and Marmajuelo.
